Joaquin E. Goldaracena, a Buenos Aires native, is focused and driven attorney.
He believes that his clients want their problems to be solved in the most efficient manner. For that goal, Joaquín works directly with his clients to guide them through every step of the conflict in order to achieve successsful and cost-effective results through settlement negotiations or trial.
A member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal and Cámara Federal de Apelaciones de La Plata, he assists his clients in the areas of Class Actions, general litigation in Civil and Corporate Courts.
Joaquín earned his JD in 2002 from the University of Buenos Aires. During his studies there, he clerked at the 81st Family Court of Buenos Aires.
After graduation Joaquin expanded his legal experience as a litigation associate in Marval O´farrel & Marial, where he defended international banks during the 2002 crisis.
In 2004, Joaquin expanded his legal experience to public law and regulation, at the Federal Ombudsman . He was head advisor of the deputy Ombudsman. In 2006, Joaquin went back to the litigation field when he joined as an associate at Estudio Claiman & Asociados, where he was in advised and represented small businesses in trial courts.
In 2012 -2013 Joaquin not only obtained an LL.M. in American Law from the Boston University School of Law, but also interned several legal aids in Boston area (Volunteers Lawyers Asossiation) and NYC (Brooklyn Bar Asossiation).
Back in Argentina in 2014, he joined Estudio Spota & Asociados as head of the Litigation Department.
Joaquin is a part time professor at the Departamento de Práctica Profesional de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he teaches litigation in family and civil courts to senior students.
