Axel Hofmann is an experienced global banker, entrepreneur, and business transformationexecutive with more than 30 years of experience and Executive Director in Casa Latina, Dubai United Arab Emirates. He held regional and global positions with Citibank spanning four continents. He has extensive experience in digital transformation, having driven the planning, strategy development and implementation of the ADC (Alternative Distribution Channels) vision for Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, considered as the best in the market and one of most advanced in the MENA region.

He has been advisor and investor to several technology startups and SMEs in general on valuation, M&A, market mapping, expansion strategy and business brokerage.

As a consultant he has advised the Managing Director of Saudi Hollandi Bank, Banco Superville Argentina and many other businesses in America and the Middle East. He is currently the Executive Director of Casa Latina and TSM International, both businesses in Dubai. He also held positions as Retail Bank Head for Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, Country Business Manager for Citibank in the Bahamas and Colombia, Executive Director for InBest Inc, Prosperia Consulting,HHITS Inc, among other and has also been a board member in several reputed companies in banking, insurance, and investments both in the Americas and the Middle East.

Education

Axel Hofmann is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Buenos Aires, with a graduate specialization in Strategic Management from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He has also completed executive training programs, like:
